it looks like it would be in your header.php or your index.php file – look for <div id="pathway">
and you can either change what’s in there or delete the whole div from there to the first </div>
you see.
I did just that and now my site looks like this
http://thisisframingham.com/
I only touched that paragraph, I’m not sure why it drastically changed the whole page.
Log back in as admin. Options -> General. Fix your two URI values. One of them appears to be “this is framingham” which isn’t very effective as an address. π
I’m confused, I went to Options-> General and both URIs are set to
http://thisisframingham.com
I’m not really sure what the deal is.
Odd, I see <a href="This Is Framingham">
all over the place in your page source. I’d expect the href value to be coming from one of the URI fields at Options -> General.
Interesting, I’m not sure what else I can do.
I’m not too handy in this stuff so I’m willing to bet money I did something wrong but I just cant seem to find what it is.
Thanks for looking.
Paste your header.php to http://pastebin.com and post back with the address.
I cringe asking this but:
Am I supposed to have a header.php in the folder where the index.php and comments.php are- Those are the only php things in the template folder.
Well, in that case your index is not sliced…
Paste the index.
Where did you find that theme?
The link you sent me for pastebin has a window and just a send button that asks for just a name then I clicked send and it said it couldn’t do whatever it’s supposed to do.
Sorry, like i said I’m really a novice, I’m not sure what it’s supposed to do but my boyfriend (who I was trying to show I could figure this out on my own) got rid of the text but, the box where the paragraph was seems to have to stay(?)
I got the theme from a link off the change your theme option:
http://themes.wordpress.net/columns/2-columns/444/ginseng-coffee-1/
HandySolo, if an unrecognized value is given to the bloginfo function, it returns the blog name by default. You can take a look at the get_bloginfo function in wp-include/template-functions-general.php for a list of recognized values.
So I think there’s indeed something strange being done in that theme.
What exactly is the problem? The blog looks fine to me, although you still have the “Progress” space there.
The problem is getting rid of the rectangle below progress.
It actually has nothing to do with “progress” it was filled with text about the template, we got rid of the text but can’t ged rid of the rectangle.
could you post what you did to fix it, so that others in the future might be able to get the same help?
