   I'm thinking about installing AutoMeta, to generate tags for my blog posts. Can anyone give me feedback on the plugin?

   Or should I consider a different tag plugin?

   If I use AutoMeta, and I'm already signed in at the Technorati site, does that effect anything?

   Meta tags and the "tags" used by T. are two different things!

   On the opening page of the AutoMeta site

   http://boakes.org/autometa/

   they say this:

   "This plugin will automatically generate and include HTML Meta Tags and Technorati Tags based on the full text of your post."

   I want my posts to be visible to Google, so that if I do a search Google and other search engines will find me. Will AutoMeta help do that? Or am I barking up the wrong plugin-tree?

   Moshu is correct in saying they are different things: AutoMeta does both. If you want your tags to be effective for search engines, don't forget to hand-finish them.
