[Plugin: Link Footnotes] target="_blank"

    Agreed. It’s been a while since I wrote this plugin, but let me look and see what I can do to get that working.

    Maybe a target meta field on the post?

    Just updated to 0.1.7 in SVN with a new option on the Settings -> Writing page. There’s a field where you can enter the target. If there’s anything there a target attribute is added to the footnote links. If it’s blank, nothing is added.

    Either way, the links within the post body are not touched, just the ones in the footnotes.
