You have JavaScript errors on your page. Please correct it and test again.

oh right… simple! where do i find the errors?

    Hi, Drumba.

I’m having problems with the plug-in. I’m pretty sure it’s something I’m missing but I don’t know what.

Neither facebook, nor tweet nor +1 show the link after I click on them.

The number of likes, of tweets and of +1 are incremented.

    Could you help me?

    The test page: http://blog.plicatibu.com/test-of-wplike2get/

PS: I’ve enabled the link to developer (your plugin) site inn the settings but they don’t show up.

    Regards.

To help you a little bit:

    When I insert

[l2g] content to hide [/l2g] it works

When I ask the plugin to protect a download link, it inserts something like

    [l2g name=”Penguins” id=”1234″]

    Regards.

@mjswalking.co.uk sorry, i got no info that you post a message. you find the errors in the error console of a developer plugin like firebug for firefox or the developer tools in google chrome.

@plicatibu deactivate the google analytics tracking and test again please. I think this is one possible error. Than you have other facebook und g+ widgets on the side, this widgets are in conflict with the plugin.

    Hi, drumba.

    Thanks for replying.

I’ve deactivated the google analytics tracking, all facebook plugins and the +1 plugin.

Now when I tweet I see the link. Unfortunately for Like and +1 the link doesn’t show up.

    Any other advice?

    I tested for facebook: worked.
    I tested for +1: doesn’t work.

I test again tomorrow. I think there were conflicts with creating the js object.

    (@drumba)

There are conflicts with other scripts. Remove them step for step for seeing which script produce the conflict.

    Hi.

    I will deactivate them.

As far as I discover which plug-in is conflicting with wpLike2Get I let you know.

    Thanks.

    Hi, drumba.

I’ve uninstalled other +1 plugins and FB plugins.

I’ve deactivated each plug-in I’m using on my blog and then I tested the like and +1 buttons.

    +1 button is Ok.

Unfortunately the like button never worked.

In Chrome I saw on menu->tools->JavaScript console the following error after I’ve liked the page:

Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://blog.plicatibu.com/test-of-wplike2get/ from frame with URL https://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?action=recommend&channel_url=http%3A%2F%2Fstatic.ak.facebook.com%2Fconnect%2Fxd_arbiter.php%3Fversion%3D6%23cb%3Df6a5ca3ac%26origin%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fblog.plicatibu.com%252Ff20126015c%26domain%3Dblog.plicatibu.com%26relation%3Dparent.parent&colorscheme=light&extended_social_context=false&font=lucida+grande&href=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.plicatibu.com%2Ftest-of-wplike2get%2F&layout=box_count&locale=en_US&node_type=link&sdk=joey&show_faces=false&width=100. In the IE, I got the following error on page load:

    Webpage error details

    User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)

It seems there is an issue with FB button but maybe it’s just a problem with my installation. Is there any other test that I can perform ?

By the way, what do I need to insert into the fields Facebook App-ID and Facebook User-ID. They are empty in my settings.

    Thanks.

    Oh. I almost forgot:

on IE (version 8) only facebook’s like button is loaded.

    Regards.

    (@drumba)

You can leave the App-ID and User-ID empty.
