Gallery with category buttons that change the image

I’m trying to figure out if there is a plugin or some other way of accomplishing the following:

Unfortunately the actual site is still on a local server so I don’t have a link to it, but basically I want it so when you hover over those middle buttons (Commercial, Educational, Government, Healthcare, etc) the image above them changes to a related image.

Anyone have any idea how I could accomplish this? Ideally there would be a plugin of some kind so that the images are able to be changed by the client but I’m not having any luck finding one. Maybe if someone just has the terminology for what kind of rotator/gallery this would be called I could look myself, my searches just aren’t coming up with anything that looks like what I’m going for. I appreciate any help.
