• Hello,

I have been trying for hours to insert the Greek symbol PI in a text about the mathematical symbol PI from one of my students. When I put π in the html code, it goes well until I save, and then every π changes into a ? (=question mark) in the visual version AND in the html page. Frustrating!
I tried <p><font face=”Symbol”>p</font></p>, which works in IE and Chrome, but not in Firefox.

What is the all-browser solution to make the PI sign come on the screen correctly? Urgent help needed, and appreciated! 🙂

    Thanks!
    Herman

    Hello again,

about the preceding post: when I put the “&+p+i+;” in the html code (because here it is converted correctly!).

If you are using the HTML tab, try & #227; (with the space removed between & and #).

Thanks, but that didn’t work out (gave an a with a tilde). After hours of searching the bizarre solution appeared to be to change the language (“abc v”)in the edit mode. Trial and error, but incomprehensible. One of those (time consuming) things… Herman
