Cart66 pro and UPS Shipping Labels

Hello, I am looking for a solution for a client that is using Cart66 pro version and UPS. They have a UPS API which lets the site calculate the shipping rates on orders. However, they need it to go the extra mile and generate a shipping label for their shipping manager so they don’t end up having to hand-enter the orders received online to generate the labels.
Currently, we are trapped in a catch-22 between Cart66 saying basically: “No, we don’t generate the label” and then UPS saying “Well, you need to get your Shipping-Package API out of test mode”.
Has anyone else ever gone through the UPS Test-Production mode API process? The Cart66 guys are scratching their heads over this, but there has to someone else out there who has implemented a cart using UPS who has gone through this.
