• hello everyone!

I just created this nice 404.php page (if you can call a 404 nice), which nonetheless integrates fine with me blog’s custom theme.

However, only when someone tries to visit a post which has been later deleted, do they get the 404.php page.

Mispelling a permalink or category URL, returns an odd “Not Found” message, still within my theme – yet adding an extra </div> to it and breaking it up completely.

I tried to find “Not Found” as a string of text in all my theme files and wordpress, and I could NOT! Where does it come from? Why? How can I make it so the 404 shows up instead?? 🙁

Thanks in advance for any insight you may have to offer.

PS: I’m still on local tests, so I cannot offer a URL example.

UPDATE: When I test on my local machine, most of the times I manage to get to the 404.php when something is mistyped in the URLs.

Perhaps this is a server issue with my host?
