All my URLs (links) on my blog are pointing to my main Website address

I’m on Twenty Eleven 1.2 for my Blog. All my links on my blog are pointing to my main website – not functioning correctly for me. So embarrassing – can someone please help me out ASAP! I’m sure it’s something simple but i’m really new at using this .. haven’t had a chance to really troubleshoot it until now. Even the images lead to my website!

it’s hurting my photography business so i removed a lot of the URLs and links that I have up.

I just had a look at you site. When I clicked on ‘home’ it switched to a webpage that says ‘domain unregistered’. Check with you host tech support about your domain name.

Come to think of it looks like you installed WP in http://www.henrylamphotography.com/blog/ … a subdirectory called /blog/
So what does http://www.henrylamphotography.com do?

Maybe your domain name has expired and needs to be renewed.

you shouldn’t have gotten that message when clicking on “Home” from my blog. My website is still up and running: http://www.henrylamphotography.com is my splash page that has two options: Enter Website and Visit Blog

i feel like I placed my website URL somewhere in the wrong spot within my WP settings, maybe?? Help!!

1. When you go to the main website http://www.henrylamphotography.com the back ground screen shows some frog and ‘domain unregistered message’ was this deliberate as I was confused by it.

2. I just understood what you menat by ‘website’ and ‘blog’. I was confused by the frogs.

3. Login in to your adminstration panel and tell me what it shows at the following fields:-
WordPress Address (URL) http://…
Site Address (URL) http://…

It looks like your blog has been running for quite a few years. Did you add a new plugin in lately? If so deactivate it.

Try that and see.

really a frog? weird. Ok, let me check those addresses.

I think the site address is wrong.. but what SHOULD it be? I looked here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory but I don’t understand the steps.

Looks like your site was hacked. I am still checking. Also do you have a backup? A backup that was made before these problems occured. I know the feeling both my sites were hacked but I was just lucky as I had made my own back up 3 days earlier. see http://bachutha.com. There has been a numerous waves of attacks since February 2012

I just checked and found that you have index.php and index.html in both directories. In http://www.henrylamphotography.com/blog and in http://www.HenryLamPhotography.com. Your /blog/ sub-directory should only have index.php … if WP was installed in this directory.

If index.html is there all visitors will be shown the index.html instead of the index.php as index.html has priority over index.php. Try renaming the index.html to indexold.html to see if you can recover the blog side. If the hackers just added index.html without damaging your files that that should help.

As for the http://www.HenryLamPhotography.com was the original just a simple index.html file or was it index.php?

I just noticed that your SiteURL is http://www.HenryLamPhotography.com
Site URL is where your WP files are installed. Did you install WP in http://www.henrylamphotography.com/blog/ if so this should be your site URL should be http://www.henrylamphotography.com/blog/

If you want visitors to go directly to you blog site, bypass the splash page, I think your WordPress Address (URL) should be http://www.henrylamphotography.com/blog/. Then when they go to http://www.henrylamphotography.com/ they will have the option of selecting website or blog as shown by your two photos. And if they go to http://www.henrylamphotography.com/blog/ they will only see the blog.

Did I get that right?

I suspect the reason your blog links are pointing wrongly is that there is the index.html file in http://www.henrylamphotography.com/. Try to rename this index.html to indexold.html.

See if this works.
