I love this plugin and have read the guide about adding extra modules but I think it may be overkill for what I am trying to do.

I have another sitemap on the server called products.xml. All I want to do is add this to the sitemapindex.xml.

Is there something I can add to my functions.php file to include it in the sitemapindex.xml?

Hi there, sorry for my late reply.

Look here: http://betterwp.net/wordpress-plugins/google-xml-sitemaps/#basic_api

What you should do is to add a parent module, in this case:

$bwp_gxs->add_module(‘products’);

and that’s all! Products.xml will be included in your sitemapindex.xml, and it will link to your real one!

Correct, but make sure that you put all codes in the block to your functions.php, not just the line above.
