• Just doing a bit more investigating as google still isn’t indexing my home page (which I use a home.php file for to make it static).

It has indexed my category pages but the SEO titles and descriptions from Yoast are showing differenty on google (it was last cached a few hours ago).

I checked the sitemap and it shows my home domain as “www.sitename.com/” under “post-sitemap.xml” The other sitemaps (Page + Category) do not include any links to the homepage.

When I type in my home domain in my browser it shows up as http://www.sitename.com without the trailing slash at the end, but the sitemap has this slash included included.

May this be the reason why google isn’t indexing the home page?

SEO Privacy is disabled so it should crawl my site.
If it is crawling the category pages, I am not sure why it’s not following links back to the homepage, as I have my banner linking back to it aswell as the breadcrumbs.

The home.php file definitely does not have no follow/noindex on it and nothing is blocking it on the robots.txt.

Would love some help with this.
