Shortcode Flags

Quick query:

is it possible to setup a shortcode handler such that ‘flags’ with no values can be set in the shortcode?

For example, I can do the following shortcode, which works fine with my shortcode handler:
[my-shortcode show_title=true]
but I’d like to make it even simpler for my users, and make it possible for them to do
[my-shortcode show_title]

Can’t work out how to make it work though. Anyone any tips?
