• Hello, I’ve just uploaded a gif image to my site which has just turned black, thinking I had done something wrong I deleted it and reinstalled it again and again it has turned black, any idea whats causing this as it normally has a clear background or how to cure this

    Thanks.

Nothing much on the site just now as it’s being built.

BTW the image is what I’ll be using as my logo.

It looks fine in PhotoShop. I am still messing with it but you could just give it a white background for an easy work around.

It looks fine on my PC, it’s just when I upload it onto the site it tends to go black, I was just wondering it it was a known problem with WordPress or it was was more related to my site?

No, not a wp problem. I looked at the css and that is most likely where something is going on. I think using a white background and saving as a jpeg will speed thing up slightly and fix the problem.
