  • This is done using a standard WordPress “cron” task for scheduling routine actions.
Some tips to debug any general WP issues with tasks:

I would suggest to see if the suggestion about php error_log or using the Cron-View plugin would help gather more info

By default the plugin installs the ai1ec_cron job daily, even when I import ICS calendars and say hourly this does not change, is there anyway to change this to hourly?

Sorry I think this is simply the UI confusing you.

What you must do is choose Hourly and click “save settings” at the bottom in order to actual save this option. Simply choosing “hourly” and inserting an ICS feed isn’t enough – the “save settings” button must be clicked

Ah yes, very confusing, that setting maybe needs to be up higher or something, it seems to be part of the ics feed, thinking I can change the update setting for each feed individually.

    Thanks.

Glad that sorted it – yes I agree the button should be moved to make it more obvious how they relate
