IF you put out a product that worked, and had instructions that made it easy to install, and didn’t tell an individual to “pay” for a “fix” that would benefit YOU…more people might gladly donate to your product.
You have NO instructions on how to properly operate the plugin so that it works (just look at all of the postings), and you ask ME to pay, “not donate”, to fix YOUR issue…you don’t honestly expect a single user to pay to fix something that will benefit YOU in the long run do you?
I like the plugin a lot….but I certainly don’t feel like donating; yet.
And in your own words “…our priority is to make our living.” It is OBVIOUS to me that you might have your priorities wrong.
Develop a free plugin, place a Donate button and see how that works for you, you will see how your advice applies.
I could be wrong in setting my priorities, but I don’t worry too much, it is working for me.
It is OBVIOUS that you don’t care about your customers!
And getting more obvious EVERY time you post on this forum….for all to see; that you don’t give a damn about anybody but yourself!
Have fun in the unemployment line when your donations dry up…because with your attitude; they will.
Yes, I admit, I care about myself top most (OK, if you do not, then what do you care most about?). Then my family who need me to make their living.
Then I care about my customers / users.
First priority is customers who pay in contracted projects.
Second is users donate or not. Don’t call them customers. They are not buying our service. They are free to use, free to report bug, free to get it fixed, free to donate or not.
And answer to my question(s), if you want a healthy discussion between mature men.
