Can I 'highlight' the text in the widget-title?

Is there a way to ‘highlight’ (i.e. background color behind text) the text in widget-title? I am using the Twenty Ten theme, and I am going to have a background image for the .widget-title section, and I would like a white background behind just the text in this section to make it stand out against the background image. Any suggestions?
