pls guide me on setting up a gadget shop

hi guys! so we have a project at school. we have to make a wordpress website that have a gallery page showing laptop thumbnails. when the user clicks one, a new page will show up showing bigger image of the laptop + details like spec, and price, etc.

so far what i’ve done:
made a page named gallery. inserted a new media. uploaded few laptops already. added captions. so basically my gallery page is working.
heres my questions:
if i click a laptop, it shows a page that has a bigger image. is that a page or just a temporary image viewer? how can i make a page that i described above? should i link it to another page?
