    Hi Paulspen,

That is a great idea. We wil consider that for our next release.

Thanks so much for your valuable feedback! We really appreciate it.

I agree, this feature would be terrific.

This plugin is a great idea. It would be much better and easy to use if the text stayed below the image. It is not very user friendly as a separate line of text as it gets in the way of content.

Please, do not consider this feature. DO IT! It is a must if you want people to use your plugin.

    Hi Rimmon,

We just launched an update that will now allow you to do this. Please check it out and let us know what you think.

    Thanks!

Compfight seems to be picking up any Flickr image and not just those with a Creative Commons license – please note that some images on Flickr have an “All rights reserved” copyright.

    Hi Chalto,

Thanks for contacting us. Do you have any specific examples of “All Rights Reserved” photos that Compfight is picking up? We are quite certain we are only pulling the CC images, but there may be a few edge cases where these ARR images are showing up. With out any specific examples, it is hard for us to diagnose.

If you could show us some specific examples of what you are finding, we will be able to take a look at it.

    Thanks!

I’m glad to know that the caption is possible, but I have just installed and activated and checked the settings and cannot see how to ensure it captions the attribution.

To chime in on tthe handling of that credit bit. It would be nice if it were by default excluded from being included in The Excerpt as well.

Been trying to use compfight wordpress plugin and my very first thought was that the credit should go in a caption. It would look a lot neater, and I’d actually use it if it did this.
I’ve tried editing the layout template in the plugin settings, but can’t get it to do this. Any pointers please?
Really great work on the plugin – many thanks 🙂

I have version 1.3 of this plugin and I don’t see how to set it up to use the WordPress caption shortcode.

    Am I missing something?

How about a tutorial with how to make this happen. I cannot seem to find what I need to put the attribution part with the image anywhere.

I see mention of shortcode… where do I find the shortcode.

Obviously this needs to be added to your FAQ here. I love the idea of this plugin but it is not working for me. It takes me long enough to write my posts but this is taking just about as long to try to use than not having it at all.

Getting very frustrated and about to give up – would rather it just be explained if the features exist.
