I want to restrict public view of the entire costume post type. Which means I have to keep restricting each category every time.

    Hi mitchpc,
Ok. I have just downloaded this plugin and checked. For me it works.
    So what I did.
I created Custom Taxonomy with name “Test Category”. Be sure that u checked ” Hierarchical – like post categories, with parent / children relationship and checkboxes to select taxonomy ” under Advanced.
Then I created Custom Post Type “Test Post” and checked Test Category checkbox.
Then I added one Test Post and it shows everything for me properly.

So the conclusion is that your Custom Taxonomy should be defined as Hierarchical and your Category should contain at least one Post.

Also if you’ll have time take a look in this plugin – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mp-former/

    Hi Vasyl,

I tried downloading your plugin and activating it; but I can’t see the Access Manager under the user drop down list. I have WP-member, another plugin installed. Does this affect your plugin? If not, how should I resolve the issue?

    Hi sphua,
Actually now it goes to separate menu “AAM Group”.
Sorry for confusion. I forgot to update description.

Thanks Vasyl for the prompt response. Tried to configure but couldn’t do so. Added a new user and configure all the access conditions but fail to translate to action. I basically wish to block certain users from one category of post in my blog. Would appreciate any advice.
