• I get some very strange results with the W3 Cache on wordpress.

Although the plugin does a great job to combine and minify CSS and JS, my loading times are worse with plugin enabled compared with when the plugin is disabled.

The reason for slow loading according to pingdom is the long waiting time until the html file loads. As far as I know how w3 cache works this files serves static html taken from my php files. However the result is that I have to wait more than 3s until it loads.

The starnge in the case is that the problem persists only when a page is loaded for first time. The second time is loads much faster – the loading time falls from 5s to 800ms.
Do you have any idea why this happens?
I have tried many thngs but nothing works, so I would be grateful if you could help me.

The page I have been testing mostly is http://sexzam.com/mentricks/

    Thank you in advance.

  • From what I can see, your server is decent and page caching is working well http://www.webpagetest.org/result/120316_GS_3KR1N/ – I’m not sure how you tested, but this service is the authoritative reference outside of Google Page Speed.

Using HTML minify on an underpowered web server will slow down cache generation time, so be aware of that.

    Do you have further questions?
