Fatal error message after server restored

    Last night my server crashed and when it was restored, my site is coming up with the following fatal error message:

    Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/XXXXX/public_html/wp-includes/meta.php on line 273

    What does this mean and how can I fix it? I’m in panic mode.

    My theme forum helped me sort this one out > I needed to empty the page cache (W3 Total Cache) because the error page was the one being served. But now I’m having menu issues and have posted for help about that separately.
