I think the permission to view and edit the events is not right. As a website author, I can view and edit all the events created by others on the backend, both public and private events. Only event contributor permission is right. Why not design the permission as posts? I can’t change all the user roles to event contributor. I want to keep their author permission status.

No, when I create a default wordpress post and create a new role with permissions “read private post”, other users with this permissions can view all that posts. But in All-in-One Event Calendar, when I add permissions “read_private_ai1ec_events” other users see only own private events. I use User Role Editor to change permissions to users role. Please fix this, thank you.
