Phantom Category

    OK I’ve cleaned up the imported database to match all URLS/Emails, all looks great, except there is a phantom post category called ‘wisdom’ I cannot find… I feel there is one because each time I try to add Wisdom with the slug ‘wisdom’ it adds a -2 to the slug to get wisdom-2 and I don’t want that.

    Where in the SQL do I look to rid it of that wisdom category so I can set up a new one?

    You are looking for the table: _terms
    Do you have a tag ‘wisdom’ that could possibly conflicting with that?

    Do you mean if there is tag as in those keywords, that could do it?

    OK I notice that ‘tags’ are lower case and ‘categories’ are upper at least in mine.

    So I deleted the old Wisdom category… and I’m good to go with the new one whose slug is simply ‘wisdom’ with no -2 after it.
