Post editor Categories, Tags, and etc. will not collapse/expand

    The “New Post” editing dialogs such as Categories, Post Authors, Featured Image, and Tags will not collapse or expand on my locally hosted WordPress website.

    I have tried reinstalling WP’s latest version and the functions work fine on my live site. I’m in the midst of developing a new site which is set to go live in a matter of days. I need some of these dialogs to open up ASAP so that I can adequately test new custom post templates.

    Does anyone have any ideas about how this can be resolved? Thanks to everyone in advance.
