    Hi!
I’ve just installed the free version of MarketPress in my site (which uses WordPress Multisite and BuddyPress) and I don’t see any difference on it. I mean, when I installed BuddyPress, it came with an entirely different theme, full of new features. But with MarketPress I’m not seeing nothing, not even a single widget. My idea by testing the free version was exactly to see if the plugin is what I want to my site, then, if it is, upgrade to a paid membreship in WPMU DEV. I’m using the default theme of BuddyPress -that blue one that looks like facebook. Having in mind that MarketPress is said to be absolutely compatible with Multisite and BuddyPress, I don’t think this is the problem. I also deactivated all the other plugins (except BuddyPress, of course) I have installed in my network, but nothing changed.

I have absolutely no idea of what might be wrong. Considering that I’m not seeing any changes in my theme, am I doing something wrong in the installation or something like that?

    Thanks!

I’ve already solved the problem. There is no warning about it during the setup of MarketPress Lite, but the plugin will only change your current theme if you allow it to do so in the new item that will appear at your main site menu (not the network dashboard), in WordPress. This new item at the menu of the main site is called “products”, there you can configure a store, but only for your main site, not for the network. If you want to activate the plugin for the entire network, you need to have a paid membership at WPMU DEV (the plugin developers).
