Layout on front page out of alignment

    Hello, I am not sure what is wrong with my page http://www.happyhorror.com

    It seems that there is some sort of issue with my latest 2 posts that is pushing the sidebar down below the posts on the front page and shifting my header/footer over in some way?

    I’ve searched the forums for alignment issues and gotten myself fairly well confused over what changes I need to make. I’m not sure if the issue stems from the postings themselves or something in the theme files (I’m using WP’s default theme). I checked the validate xhtml and that REALLY confused me. It appears that they’re finding errors in both the code and the posts?

    I’ve stopped editing with Notepad and switched to Notepad2 as per advice I found in this forum. I also have stopped using the rich text editor when I make posts to avoid any extra <div> additions. I resize all my images now as well as have limited the number of posts on the front page of the site. I’m not sure what I should do so if anyone would be willing to take a look at the page I’d be extremely grateful.

    I felt that I needed to add that today, when I posted, it moved some articles off the front page and I regained my sidebar just as it was before it got moved to the bottom of the page…. I’ve not altered any of the code since I first posted nor done anything that I don’t normally do (exception being that I haven’t centered all my images.

    I don’t understand it but atleast the alignment is correct now….. Is it ok to still want to know what went wrong so I can understand it next time or should I close this thread? (Sorry, new here)
