[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Short Codes ??? HELP???

    Hi —
    I’ve learned by reading this forum that the short code:
    [nggallery id=33 template=caption]
    Presents the gallery with the description. Which is great.

    Is there a short code to also include the image ID number so that it’s presented along with the description??

    Gosh, sure wish there was a list of short codes available with the various options. I’ve looked at the NextGEN php files, but I’m not a programmer and much of it is hard for me to understand.

    Can anyone help me with this?

    I’ve looked at a lot of the various wonderful directions for using this, but frequently it just goes over my head. A list of available short codes would be a great service to us dummies.

    have you tried the FAQ there is a reasonable list of short codes:

    Otherwise Alex is running this site which shows the results of many different short codes.

    You can peek in the the “view” folder of the plugin to see the available templates.
    Galleries:
    caption
    carousel

    Albums:
    compact
    extend

    imagebrowser:
    caption
    exif

    If none of those fits you, you will have to make a template your self. There are several guides for how to do that.
