• Hello everybody!

For a project I want to use WordPress but also extend it much more into a CMS, there are all sorts of plugins that will help me accomplish that and I already saw one or two plugins that deal with managing user rights per category. But when I tried those they didn’t seem to work the way I expected them to.

    Does anyone have recommendations?
What it comes down to: I will have categories and users, some should have access to all of them, some not. Some categories are only meant to be edited by one or two users. It’s not so much about hiding the content, because on the website it will be public, but to manage who is able to enter content for certain categories. This also affects the creation of pages and the usage of (certain) custom post types.

Do you have recommendations for existing plugins?
or let me ask the basic question: can this even be done? 🙂

thanks so much for your feedback!

    bye,
    kwentin
