• Hi,

I have just discovered your fantastic plugin.

    Great Job !

However, I have a little problem with it.

I would like to use it in some long posts.

To make these posts easier to read, I am using WP-PageNavi.
So it creates a pagination when I put this code in a post :
    <!–nextpage–>

My posts URL so look like this :
    …www.my-website.com/title of my post/2
    …www.my-website.com/title of my post/3

The problem is that if I try to use your plugin, it only shows me in the Table of Contents the h2 titles which are on the first page of each post.

Every others h2 titles which are on the others pages created by using <!–nextpage–> aren’t shown.

So, could you update your excellent plugin so that it can display in the Table of Contents every titles tags of a post ?
(which includes a multipart post with the <!–nextpage–> )

It’s a very important feature to make a great paginated website.

    Thanks a lot

Yep that’s on the cards and mentioned at http://dublue.com/plugins/toc/comment-page-2/#comment-1336

Basically WordPress is feeding only the page for the current view when it runs the_content which is what this plugin uses to do its thing.

    Ok.

So do you think you can add this function soon ?

It would be very important for many users like me 😉

    Thanks a lot.

I’m currently investigating an approach to overcome the paging aspect in a way that doesn’t overly complicate things. No eta but current thoughts is that it’s not a trivial job.
