Slideshow Only Show Static Images

    I have installed a couple of slideshow plugins and when I set the theme of the website to be twenty eleven the plugins (I use one at a time) work fine and when I set it to my own custom theme the slide shows just show the slideshow images one above each other with no slideshow in effect.

    Any idea on what maybe causing this?

    Until you can provide a site link we would only be guessing…Please also list your theme and the plugins.

    My guess is your theme is not picking up/not working well with the plugin’s CSS.

    Hi, thanks for getting back in touch. Unfortunately I can’t provide the URL as its in preview at the moment.

    The plugins being used are all in one seo, limit posts, prpomotion slider and mulitple post thumbnails. I’ve tried turning them all off though and it still doesn’t work.

    you first need to check if your jquery is working properly. you can do it from DOM inspector.
    next, its likely just a css issue with your theme.
    check the ul tags for your slider.

    Cool thanks. Do you have any tips on what exactly I should be looking for when checking if the jquery is working properly?
