    WordPress core does not generate meta-descriptions.

    What Facebook displays is up to Facebook and is completely beyond the control of WordPress.

    I think you are wrong mate, this problem is fixable 100%
    I sow some plugins and some tweaks to fix this, but they don’t seem to work, maybe cause I’m using the newest wordpress version.

    Not based on the number of questions we field about this subject in the forums. The problem with the plugins is that Facebook API keeps changing and the plugins either can’t be (or just aren’t being) updated to deal with it.

    That means it’s not 100% on the facebook’s hand, but we can do something about it too.

    I’ve seen a lot ot mini-editings that should be done so it works, but I guess the new tweaks are yet to be published. :/
