After new redirections, a blank homepage but posts & pages work

    Hello,

    The plugin has been working fine over the last few plugin updates and WP updates. Recently after adding a new redirection and editing a few old ones, the homepage mysteriously just turned blank. All posts and pages work though. There is zero html code in the blank page.

    I’ve gone through testing conflicting plugins. Tested with only the Redirection plugin active and it still resulted in a blank homepage. I thought it might be htaccess and rebuilt it from scratch via a permalinks resave and that didn’t wasn’t it either.

    Anyone have any ideas on what it could be??

    Same thing here.

    Except my home page (post) disappeared after just a few hours.

    Deactivating the plug-in brought my home page back again.

    So what should I do if I want to change a permalink and not get a 404?

    Having similar issue, just added redirection to a site that is installed on Add-on domain in Hostgator account. Not site coming up as generic HTML pages and trying to login to Dashboard redirects me into Dashboard of main WP install on the hosting acct instead of the install on the sub-folder. Need to fix ASAP!

    I just had this same issue. The problem for me was that someone accidentally click Add Redirect when there were no values in the URL fields. This created a redirect from “/” to -1.

    After deleting that redirect, my problem was fixed.

    Thank you internic99! That was exactly my problem too, and it’s fixed now.
