Go to Admin-pannel -> Settings -> Discussion -> Default Avatar and select an Avatar for your visitors .
Hi Kostas123 – Thanks for your help.. Question – if I change the default avatar, won’t it also wipe out my own (custom) Avatar from popping up for my own comments? There doesn’t seem to be a separate area in the Discussion section of Setting that would allow me to distinguish this..
You’ll need to sign up at gravatar.com with the email address that you’ve associated in your blog with your admin user account, and upload your image to gravatar.com. After you’ve done that your gravatar.com image will appear whenever you post on your own blog or on other WordPress blogs (if you put that email address into the mail field of the comment form at that other blog).
To relate your favicon with your Gravatar have a look at this plugin .
Note : Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile -> Contact Info ->yourmail@gmail.com is the location that relates your gravatar.com image location .
