• Main fault:
    get stuck on product page, nav fails

    SO that is totally useless. Cannot set up to test. SO stuck at first thing I did.
    Have used other carts am not a newbie.

    Useless waste of time, not sure how they got so big if it doesn’t install and work properly. There is no support to ask!

    Also, the Store link for settings is rather obscure, since there is a tab for Products. Why not put it there?
    Unless that is part of this version’s bugs.

    Don’t waste yr time.

    Sorry to hear you’re frustrated by the plugin. I’m not actually sure what you’re talking about when you say the navigation fails on a product page. Any further elaboration would be helpful.

    Also, the plugin is as successful as it is because it was the first in the game, and it does a pretty good job for most of the current user base. There is plenty of support to ask, through these forums, the forums at GetShopped, the premium forums, Twitter, etc.

    As far as putting settings for the plugin under the Settings link – that’s a core WordPress practice, it’s not a bug – it’s a best practice.

    You’re right the setting for the store is obscure, but Justin is also correct that WP considers it a best practice and WPEC was advised by WP to put it there.

    In terms of “nav fails” you’ll need to be a bit more explicit with the symptoms if we’re to help. Also there is support it is here http://getshopped.org/forums/ and if you purchased the Gold Cart option then you also have access to their premium support.
