   I was tired of scrolling down to the bottom of my long category list to uncheck "Uncategorized," so I wrote a plugin that unchecks your default category whenever you check another, using JavaScript.

   It works for WordPress 1.5 and newer.

   Hopefully someone else will benefit from it, too.

   You rock.

   There used to be a Greasemonkey script that did this, but I think it stopped working... and it is locked to your browser.
