• This “Other” site: http://thejustinbiebershrine.com/ has The Google Custom Search on the Homepage below each post.

I want that, how do I add that to my site? 😀

I created a custom search with google and got the code. So where do I put it? =P

    Thanks!

  • If you want to insert it on your homepage, go in your admin, appearance > editor and click on index.php in the right hand column.

You should insert the code in your loop somewhere. Without a link to your site, it’s hard to know exactly where to put it.

Thats my Index File Code. Where would I put the Google Search Code, like on the Site Posted above? D:

    Hi Andreas,

I took out your code in your thread, because it’s better to use pastebin. Having said that I looked at it beforehand and I saw that you had a section called include/entry

You probably have a file somewhere called entry.php which has your loop. The loop is what grabs all of your posts from WordPress and displays them on your index.php, so that’s where you’ll need to paste the code.

If I were you, I would review the info about the WordPress loop and then just insert the code and see what happens. If you make a backup of your file, you won’t break anything and you’ll be able to learn how the code works.

Not much help Christine, but thanks anyways =P

Adding Google Homepage is easy, just select and click pages from Google.Like Cute animals is so cool. There are variety of Homepages as you like to change it,depends on you.
