Announcement: WP Calendar Updates

    Hi,

    I’m the developer of WP Calenader. As you might noticed i could’t deliver any updates in the past few months. I was spending a lot of time in building the next version 1.5.0 with some new features and a better handling of timestamps and timezones last summer.

    Unfortenatly i got a massive data crash at home, which also destroyed my last backups and unfortenatly i didn’t check-in any new file version on the repository.

    The last 3 months a was on holiday 🙂 and in military and didn’t spend any time rework my lost data 🙁

    I think there are alot of complications in WP 3.3. I will put all my effort in building a new V1.5 without any new features but with alot of bugfixes THIS month.

    I hope a can spend more time in maintainance and new features in the future.

    Hey, i know this is a little off topic but i been trying to get in touch with you. I’ve been using Thickbox Announcement for over a year i honestly think that the best announcement plugin. But recently it hasn’t been working with the latest version of wordpress. I was hoping that you would make an update to it, i’ve been testing it on all my blogs and it doesn’t seem to work anymore.

    Hi Faebo,
    I have latest version of WP and run it with the Eleganza Theme a bit of tweaking with the theme templates and the calendar displays just perfect.
    The only thing which puzzles me is why does the content not display on the detail page.
    I have downloaded now the db to check for variables – so I can fetch it and display it together with the data of the event.
    My compliments for your good work, its very flexible and allows fine tuning – which is most often not the case – so five star for you from my humble self. 😉

    {event_description} echoes the content of the Editor in Admin Calendar.
