was changing permission with via FTP to CHMOD 666 in order to get Google sitemap plugin to work. I must of done something, because now my site is down. and I get this error when visiting the site. When logging on to my host via FTP, I can’t see most of the folders. Did I lose everything? 🙁

  • if you can still ftp to it, then change the folder/directory privileges back to 755…

Or use your Cpanel access to change the folder back to 755.. changing perms is easier to to on Cpanel than through ftp for me.

Geez just put a ticket in with hostingmatters.. they are the most helpful hosts out there.

Everything is back up, I missed some of the site permissions. Thank you.
