• I have a multisite, running a standard website (open to all) and a password protected buddypress website. It seems that unless someone is logged into the buddypress site, you can’t see the main site.

What is worse is that I can’t remember how I password protected the site in the first place!

    Can someone help?

Not without knowing how you password protected buddypress.

A plugin? Maybe something for membership?

i’ve disabled all my plugins so I don’t think it’#s that. Maybe I edited the .htaccess file. I’ll check BUT ……

if I find out what the issues was I’m wondering if there is better way to password protect only one site in a Multisite?

A membership plugin would be the best way to go in my opinion.

Slawrenson, could you figure out your problem?.
I’m algo running a multisite with one buddypress installation, and I need to password protect only the last one.
    Thanks!
