Author archive does not show all posts

I have the following problem and maybe you can help me.

I have a blog with multiple authors.
For the authors, there is an author page, where the last article written by the author are shown (to be).
This also works well if the author wrote and published the article itself.
However, if I create a different author an article for another (with the author on the article page selection), then this article is published, and indeed on the page appear normal but not in the author archive.

Do you know this kind of behavior?

P.S.
In the admin area of ​​Wordpress is the same behavior. Although the article is displayed with author’s name but when I click on the Articles from the author does not appear.
