(SOLVED.. sort of…) BUG??: Logout not working on 3.3.1 Multisite

Hi,
I recently updated our multisite to latest version of WordPress, v 3.3.1, and yesterday noticed that the logout now wasn’t working anymore – no matter how many times I logged out, upon visiting the site again I was still logged in….

After looking thru the WP forum I found lots of old posts with the same problem / bug, and most seemed to be due to a bug in earlier versions of wordpress & the solution provided was to clear your browser of all cookies –SO, I cleared all cookies related to the multisite & it worked, I was finally logged out – so it would seem that an old bug has been re-introduced, perhaps….??

Only other possible cause that I can think of could be a plugin called “Limit Login Attempts”, but I tried disabling it and the problem didn’t go away, (I disabled all plugins, reverted to default theme, you name it, nothing worked…except clearing the cookies…..) so I suspect it might be a new WP bug… and we need the L.L.A. plugin as the site isn’t even launched yet and already it’s getting brute force attacks which the L.L.A. plugin has blocked.

Hope this information helps anyone else with the same problem.
