Hide 'posted by…' text on search results page? | WordPress.org

When I do a search, it shows me the results, but the posts are preceded “Posted by X on January Y”. Is there a way I can hide that?

yes, there should be a way.

please post more information about your theme.

is the theme using ‘body_class()’?
does the theme have a search.php template?

The theme I am using is 13Floor by Elegant Themes. It does not use a search.php template, nor does it appear to mention body_class in any of the theme files.

As this is a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

As the theme’s files are not publically accessible, there isn’t much we can do to help here.
