• I am using a custom permalink that looks like this:

    /blog.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

    Pages and the RSS feed are broken links, however. Pages, which should link to something like /blog.php/about/ are instead linking to just /about/. Categories, posts, etc. all work fine though.

    Does anybody know what would be causing this?

  • why is blog.php in there? That’s not a WP file. What happens if you use the same structure but remove it?

    I renamed index.php to be blog.php. Also, I was not using any mod_rewrite rules. Sorry for the confusion. I couldn’t get mod_rewrite to work, so I was trying it a different way. It almost worked, but not entirely, so I thought maybe there was something I could do to get it working.

    However, before I wasted your time, I went back and tried mod_rewrite again and this time I got it working!
