need help with new users registering to my site

I’m sorry but I am nee dof help. I have tried to set up a new site. I installed wordpress and buddypress. I have no problem logging into my site to work on it but I have tested trying to register a new account and it doesn’t send a confirmation email. I tried using the pie register so there was no need to verify email but it stills says the email was sent and needs to be verified and still no email… Not sure how to set up so users can join. my site is: http://www.livefreeandgameon.com is there a trick to this? I have turned on anyone can register but I can’t seem to figure out what to do next -_- Please help or maybe send me a detailed link that explains how allow users to join? Thank you for the time
