• Hi

I’m having some troubles with a blog I’ve upgraded recently to 3.3.1.
The upgrading process went ok, smoothly, but now I cannot attach images into posts nor add tags to it.

I’ve done some Firebug and found a JS error “but is null” in the file

    …wp-content/plugins/sniplets/resource/admin.js?ver=1.4.5

Does any1 know what I could to to solve both problems?
    Thanks

  • Rename the sniplets plugin.

If that doesn’t help, try deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder if you have one. The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. If you can’t log in to change themes, you can remove the theme folders via FTP so the only one is twentyeleven. That will force your site to use it.

Disabling the sniplets plugin solved everything
Now have to find out if plugin is being used somewhere and report bug to its author
