I have just updated a client’s website AND my own website, but both of them have now suddenly developed an error where every (old) post is saying it cannot connect to the server:

    http://publicstatsanalytics.info/counter38.php

If I write a NEW post, I do not get this error. It seems to be something to do with the upgrade process.

I have tried turning off all the plug ins – even deleting them all, none of this helps.

Searching through the actual database I can find no files that contain this url, so I have no idea where this is coming from.

I have also downloaded all the files from the host and done a search through everything, none of these seem to contain this URL either.

I did see looking at Activity (on Safari) that another URL was requested before:
    http://newstatscounter.info/counter622.php

Any ideas what has gone wrong?

My only alternative is to re-paste all the old posts into new posts !!
