  • Does the theme have a 1 column page template?

To see the page templates, edit the page you’re wanting to change, then on the right-hand side there should be a page templates dropdown – see if it’s in there.

If not, you’ll have to edit the CSS in order to achieve this (which I can help you with if needed).

Thank you James. I have change the template to a one column template but I’m having trouble finding where the code on the CSS is to change the color of the tabs for the other pages.

    Here’s the page

the link didn’t come in http://www.westcoastmall.com

For ‘tabs’ that are inactive, you’ll need to style li.page_item and for the active page you’ll need to style li.current_page_item in the CSS.

    Thanks James,

Where in the CSS file do I find these to style? As you can see from the link that the pages tab seems to have a gradient or something as it is very faded and is difficult to see the page tabs.

I don’t think li.page_item has any styling by default, so you can add that in. li.current_page_item is around line 620 I think.

Thanks, I switched themes, I’m now using the Twenty Eleven 1.3 becuase I can use one column. However if you look at it you will see that I have taken the black from behind the menu area and made it white but the tabs aren’t showing up bright enough and I’m not able to find where in the CSS I change that. If you could help me with that I would really appreciate it.
