• Once again I was forced to go threw the whole password reset nonsense so I could ask something about wordpress that LIKE ALL THE TIME isn’t inside the codex.
Most of the times I would just go and look for better sites but it seems other forums don’t know this either. (And I asked in 3 different others).

Or you change /wp-admin/images/logo-login.png – Just found it!

next time you update the image will be over written as is is in core file.

You could but, just like govpatel says, next time you or the customer updates WordPress, you’ll be back to square one.

Then you’ll have to visit the Codex again and you don’t want to do that do you? 😉

Try using a plugin. This one looks about right but there are many others.

Not a good way to ask for help, Nerx.

The codex is written by volunteers.

If you feel there is something missing on the codex, rather than bitching about it, ask a polite question and then, once you feel you know enough, perhaps you can contribute to it.

You’re jumping ahead of yourself looking for a css file to edit. Never edit core files. Bad things can/will happen.

Taking a step back, the question you should be asking is “how do I use a custom login logo? One of a few possible answers to that question is to use the plugin Jan mentioned, another is to use Mark Jaquith’s login logo plugin.
