Updating a remote version of my WordPress site using MS WebMatrix

    Becasue I am often without access to the internet ( work related ), I use MS WebMatrix to make changes to my site Code Journeys. Whenever I download the remote version, or upload new contents to the remote version ( hosted by titan internet ) then any customizations I have made on either versions theme ( suffusion ) are cleared and the default page appearance appears on the site, however the widgets in the toolbars are not removed.
