Retrofitting Wp to fit my web site--problem with comments (2 posts)

    Hey all,

First off, thanks in advance for the help!

I'm modifying the WP code to make it fit the CSS I've already developed for my site. I've been using Jonathon Wold's article, which has been really helpful, and I've been largely successful--the pages work, and integrate with the admin tool just fine.

However, I hit a snag when it comes to comments. The comments page is including information I don't want, but I can't find where it's called in the code, so I don't know how to remove it.

The easiest thing would be to ask y'all to take a look.

As you can see, the main page is working fine. However, if you follow the "comments" link, we end up with excess stuff and odd spacing. Basically, on the comments page, I want to lose both the original post (up top) and the sidebar, which is being pushed down below.

Any ideas? FYI, I started with the classic theme, duped it, and started modding from there.

Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.

Thought I had it, but I don't. I know this is a quick little thing--I just don't know where in the code to look. Anybody even point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!
